Description

ELTC is a forty-five year old nonprofit organization that supports families toward employment and economic stability through education. ELTC provides affordable classes in medical and computer skills training, as well as GED preparation.

ELTC’s services are provided through two program areas:

• Job Ready offers employment skills preparation in the areas of functional workplace literacy, computer training, and entry-level vocational coursework, including career exploration, educational planning, rsum writing, interviewing tips, and internship placement.
• The Larimer County Circles Initiative, for which ELTC is the Lead Agency, is a transformational approach to working with families seeking economic stability. It utilizes a combination of community education and relationships to empower families to take action to move out of poverty.

ELTC also rebuilds donated computers and resells them at a significant discount to low-income students and the public.
