Mission Statement

The Peace at Home Project assists veterans and their families in the resolution of post traumatic stress injuries. With a deep commitment to evidence-based and animal assisted therapies, and in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards, we create and implement strategies to promote post traumatic growth for those who have sacrificed so much for our nation.

Description

The Peace at Project, Inc. formed as a nonprofit in January, 2015 and achieved 501(c)(3) status in November, 2015. Founded by a veteran family, we are an organization of patriotic and like minded professionals who come together to answer the call of service to our armed forces community. The Peace at Home Project resides at Waypoint Ranch, in Carrollton, Georgia and is dedicated to educational and therapeutic programs.

This is a great organization for Veterans, and a wonderful project for us to collaborate with as we work to alleviate undue stress and eliminate the current 22 (8000 per year) veterans per day who commit suicide. This is a wonderful organization!
