Friends of the Dayton Metro LIbrary

Description

The Friends of the Library is a volunteer group that provides both direct service hours as well as financial support to the Dayton Metro Library. The group has been in existence since 1988 and since then, has raised well over $500,000.00 to provide extra programming including summer reading clubs for children, teens and adults, items to enhance programming including supplies and food for activities and special events including author visits and community celebrations. The Friends raises these funds through semi annual book sales.
