HALAX along with the requirements of the Hillsborough School Board brought lacrosse to Hillsborough County High Schools on a varsity level...as a pay to play sport 3 years ago. While the schools fund other high school sports, lacrosse is in the unique position of funding almost everything ourselves. Therefore, our organization is hosting a Pre-Season Jamboree that not only gives coaches and players a chance to warm up before season games begin, but also gives us the opportunity to raise money for our expenses and untimely reduce the cost the players pay to play. We need volunteers to help us make sure that this Pre-Season Jamboree runs smoothly, and make this day fun for our students and easier for our coaches. We are asking for your time on Saturday, February 6.We want to keep growing the sport of Lacrosse in the South Tampa area and make it as affordable as possible for out student athletes to continue playing.
