The association continues its fight against cardiovascular disease and stroke by funding research and providing educational programs and materials to the public. From school-age programs like HeartPower! to CPR training to professional education, the AHA strives to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease two ways: by enhancing prevention and treatment and by improving the cardiac arrest chain of survival and acute care treatment.
