Mission Statement

The school mission is to provide an integral formation that will allow students to learn and live according to the Judeo-Christian principles, as preserved and taught by the Roman Catholic Church, and disseminate these principles in a natural way to society through their word and example. Students are provided a strong academic foundation as well as character formation.

Description

Wood Rose Academy is a small lay-founded private school with a Catholic philosophy operating in Concord, CA since 1996. Serving families and their children in grades kindergarten through eighth grade, our school strives to provide a solid academic program in the core curriculum subjects while at the same time educating the children in virtue. The school works closely with parents, involving them in all aspects of the school's operations from financial issues to curriculum development. A collegial relationship between the professional staff and the parent body has resulted in a school environment that is responsive to particular student needs and constantly looking for ways to improve the existing programs.
