Mission Statement
The Mid-Columbia Regional Ballet (MCRB) is Southeast Washington's premier performing dance company. Incorporated in 1976, the Mid-Columbia Regional Ballet's mission is to foster and advance the art of ballet in its various forms.
Description
Mid-Columbia Regional Ballet's repertoire includes classical, neoclassical, and modern works by choreographers from throughout the U.S. Guest artists from such celebrated companies as American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Kirov Ballet, and the Bolshoi Ballet have performed with the Company. Company dancers have gone on to professional dance careers most notably former MCRB dancer and Pacific Northwest Ballet principal, Patricia Barker. MCRB is under the artistic direction of Debra Pearse-Rogo. The Mid-Columbia Regional Ballet's most popular performance is its annual production of "The Nutcracker."
