To work with the Southeast Residents, in particular those on low and fixed income, to help them access resources and support, and develop instruments that both combat poverty and urban decline, and foster individual and neighborhood pride, participation and self-determination.

Description

The Julie Community Center is a multi-purpose, non-profit community organization involved i n advocacy, education, and organizing, with special dedication to the poor.Provides after school program, youth enrichment and summer camp program from children ages 6-12. Provides leadership workshops and public health projects for teens.
