Mission Statement

The purpose of the FireEscape Coffeehouse is two-fold: to encourage and help strengthen young adults who have already made the commitment to serve God. The second is to positively impact the non-Christian kids without being a "church". Our motto is: "Preach the Gospel everyday; if necessary, use words."

Description

The FireEscape Coffeehouse is open on Friday and Saturday nights for high school and college age youth- 14 to 22 years of age. We have games, big screen tv, event nights, cappuccino bar, and cookouts for the kids in the community. We have taught Life Skill classes, Dave Ramsey Financial Peace classes, and build relationships with all kinds of kids from all kinds of backgrounds. We host "Edge" on Wednesdays and "Deep End" the first Sunday of the month for Bible Study and worship. We host concert with Christian bands and have a low power FM radio station, KFEX, that plays encouraging and uplifting music and streams on the internet. We make a critical impact on our community by providing the only youth place in town and are staffed by loving and dedicated volunteers.
