During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Reduce the number of animals euthanized by re-homing more animals and increasing the adoption rate in the City of St. Ann and surrounding areas. Educate the community of St. Ann on adequate care and control of their pets with emphasis on the importance of spaying/neutering their pets and staying "up to date" on the vaccinations.
We partner with the City of St. Ann's Animal Control Officer. The ACO is the liason between the department/City and the volunteers who run and staff this program. All volunteers go through and orientation to be able to volunteer at the shelter. As the shelter is a small facility we also have fosters for our cats and dogs. All animals are fully vetted before being put up for adoption and a "home" visit is completed before the adoption is finalized. Volunteers are needed to walk, feed and socialize the dogs and cats on their shifts. Our shelter houses animals 365 a year, so we need volunteers everyday all year long.
