UTOPIA Wildlife Rehabilitators is located in a rural area near Hope, In. and is all-volunteer. We have both State and Federal rehabilitation and educational permits, and treat and release over 300 animals and birds annually. We have two volunteer wildlife veterinarians, a wildlife biologist/vet tech, and about 30 active volunteers.

We do live animal educational programs for schools and groups all over Indiana, and we currently have two volunteer educators. Last year we brought our conservation message to over 6,000 students.

I have done a lot of sewing of outfits and cage covers for UTOPIA. Then I have also done a volunteer Open House as well. This organization rocks with their educational programs. I found out stuff I never knew about animals from Kathy Hershey and her programs.
