Mission Statement

To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Description

Since 1982, the Nebraska Chapter has provided education, information and support to individuals afflicted with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other dementias. Alongside 78 other Chapters and our Home Office in Chicago, we promote research for the prevention, cure, and treatment of AD. This mission is carried out by increasing concern and awareness, advancing public policy, enhancing care and support options, accelerating research, and growing revenue.

The All-Stars Gala was a fantastic opportunity! I highly recommend the Alzheimer's Association as a great place to volunteer!

I really enjoyed volunteering with Alzheimer's Association and already signed up to help out with another up coming event. They are such a wonderful organization and great people to work with.

I loved it ! it was a great experince . They all are very nice and helpful . I felt comfortbale around with everyone . Also it was good excerise for the day ( :

The Alzheimer's Association is always friendly when it comes to helping families and individuals. The association is here to provide support and good resources to those in need. They are always raising awareness about Alzheimer's. I volunteered twice now with this organization they are a great group to be around!
