Mission Statement
Help people break the cycle of homelessness. Bring together disparate groups so that each can discover the worth, dignity and God-given potential of the other. Pioneer a service model worthy of replication.
Description
The Center has pioneered a continuum of care model that integrates services ranging from crisis treatment and assessment to education, job training, supportive housing and home ownership. Innovative programs motivate Center guests to pursue a six step plan to achieve long term self sufficiency. The Center is a private-public partnership predicated on the belief that communities can best solve their own problems with support from the government. The Center matches every dollar from the public sector with four dollars from the private sector. By helping homeless individuals and families achieve self sufficency, the Center enables its guests to break the cycle of welfare dependency and become wage earners and taxpayers.
