La Familia, Inc.

Description

La Familia, Inc. was founded in 1987 by concerned social workers and community members who saw a need for an adoption agency, licensed by the State of NM, that could assist low to moderate income families in building their family through adoption. As we have grown over the last twenty years, we have expanded our pgorams to provide an array of services to assist families in providing a safe, secure and healthy environment for children.

Services are available to children from birth to 20, as well as to their families - biological, birth, foster or adoptive.

Our services include Comprehensive community support services, Equine-Assisted Therapy, Psychiatric evaluations and medication management, Treatment foster care, School-based social work, Training for foster parenting and infant adoption awareness, and a home-like environment to deaf youth - ages 15-20 housed at our Deaf group home.
