Windsor Prep is a tuition free K-8 Charter School located in Pinellas County.
Windsor places high importance on safety and civility. These are core to having a good learning environment and building character. Above all else, Windsor will be a safe school that provides every child the foundation for success.
Our curriculum is project-based which allows for cooperative hands on learning that incorporates technology into lessons and projects.
Windsor believes strongly in the belief of PBS( Positive Behavior Supports). We hold our students to very high standards, modeling schoolwide expectations and implementing our schoolwide expectations into the classroom. Additionally, Windsor couples the " Habits of Mind" philosophy with our PBS program. Together these two programs provide students with opportunities to learn problem solving skills that will allow them to be successful in the real world. (see www.habitsofmind.org for details). We view the entire world as our classroom and will have a variety of field trips and other learning activities outside of the school.
Windsor Prep Academy is accredited by AdvancED, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of PreK-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential.
