Mission Statement

The American Association of University Women promotes equity for all women and girls, lifelong education and positive societal change. AAUW is a national organization with three parts: The Association, the umbrella organization, is made up of Branches throughout the country. The Educational Foundation provides money for to support women in higher education plus does ground-breaking research on women's issues including STEM education. The Legal Advocacy Fund provides money for women in higher education who are fighting discrimination in the workplace.
