Mission Statement

The El Paso Exploreum Children's Museum exists to provide fun, interactive learning experiences and environments where children and families come together to explore and discover through exhibits and programs in the arts, sciences and humanities. By providing more than 60 hands-on exhibits for children 12 and younger, the museum encourages and excites youth to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). It also fosters imagination and creativity through role-play, self-discovery and decision-making with hands-on activities and immersive experiences. Just two years old, the museum offers field trips, birthday parties, camps, STEM Days and Scout workshops, as well as free community access the last Thursday evening monthly. The Exploreum youth advisory board, the Explorers, is a unique panel of children elected as for a school year to develop new exhibits, create events and programs, and update the museum's environment.
