Description
ranklin is a school focused on Academic Excellence. We pride ourselves on establishing strong collaborative relationships between students, families and staff. The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and the MetLife Foundation recognized Franklin as a National Breakthrough School in 2011. Franklin is an AVID School - Advancement Via Individual Determination, which is a program designed to equip students for college. During the 2011-2012 year, we served as an AVID demonstration site, modeling for other schools the successful integration of this program. Franklin is also known internationally for being the site where an anti-bullying film - "Stories About Us" was produced and filmed in 2007-2008. Franklin offers a full range of after-school programs and activities. We pride ourselves in our efforts to engage each student.
