To improve science attitudes and aptitudes in American youth by using social networking to expand K-12 science outreach

Description

Sci-Inspire is a new nonprofit dedicated to improving science outreach opportunities by connecting science college students with K-12 teachers and students. Volunteers teach lessons on their scientific interest, mentor science fair projects and much more! The website is currently built and connecting columbia students and Harlem teachers in a pilot in NYC and a pilot is beginning in DC at GW as well.
