Description
In 1989, NORTHEAST FLORIDA AIDS NETWORK (NFAN) was created as a regional organization responsible for coordinating HIV/AIDS services in northeast Florida and subsequently established a provider network dedicated to addressing the epidemic. Today, NFAN is a community-based service agency with the sole purpose of providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and advocacy services and programs throughout northeast Florida, including Metropolitan Jacksonville and surrounding communities. Embracing the core values of consumer participation, diversity, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration, the NFAN Board of Directors, staff and volunteers are committed to delivering high quality services and programs. As an experienced AIDS agency, NFAN also serves as a partner in key statewide and national advocacy coalitions.
