Mission Statement

Changing Lives and Changing Patterns ( CLCP) - is a local non-profit organization (tax ID: 475570061) Whose mission is to provide a variety of programs and services at no cost to at risk youth ages 12-21 in Northwest Indiana. " Empowering Youth Today to save the world tomorrow"

Description

CLCP strive to raise academic and lifetime achievement for at-risk public school students and youth ages 12-21 through the support and creation of unique music education partnerships and programs. We currently provide free after-school music programs to youth through school-based partnerships, along with special monthly workshops designed in alignment with standards for career and college readiness. CLCP’s life-changing programs and events help educate and guide our youth toward planning and achieving responsible goals for their future. Changing Lives and Changing Patterns also leverages our student’s innate talents and elevates the next generation of performers by providing audiences, venues, and special performance opportunities, while at the same time enriching the listening experience of the public with performances from aspiring artists across a wide range of genres that exist in the increasingly diverse world of music.Changing Lives/ Changing Patterns offer three programs that are designed to redirect youths between the ages of 12 and 21 through interaction with law enforcement and other community professionals. The program stresses choices and consequences, builds self-esteem and helps break the cycle of criminal or negative behavior. Parents or guardians must participate for their child to be enrolled.
