Mission Statement

JUST TRYAN IT seeks to positively impact the lives of families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer by providing them with financial assistance. We strive to instill the importance of philanthropy and service, promote wellness, and inspire tomorrow’s leaders to make a difference in their communities.

Description

JUST TRYAN IT is raising funds to help families with cancer. We are unique in that we address a family’s financial burdens when dealing with a sick child. We pay mortgages, electric bills, transportation costs, counseling fees, and more. To date, we’ve raised over $750,000 for these families.

Through 2014, all of our funds have been donated to the JUST TRYAN IT Fund for family assistance at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Other programs that have been supported by our dollars raised include the Hospital School program and the Survivorship program. This year, 2016 we are expanded to Baltimore and NC to benefit Children's Hopsital at Sinai and Children's Hospital at both Duke and UNC. We are seeking compassionate, thoughtful volunteers who love kids! to help with a Children's Triathlon. Seeking caring inviduals who would like to expand with us into Baltimore!
