Mission Statement

University Churches Emergency Fund empowers people in North Seattle to get into housing or keep the housing they have through compassionate listening, referral, and financial assistance. The churches of the University District created UCEF in 1986 as a program to prevent and alleviate homelessness without regard to religion, ethnicity, and gender.

Description

University Churches Emergency Fund is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30AM-12:30PM. We assist with move-in costs, rent, and utilities, bus tickets, a snack lunch, hygiene items, and a clothing voucher to the thrift store. Clients who are ellegible may receive up to $150 once a year. We assist those in need in the following zip codes: 98103, 98105, 98115, and 98125.
