Mission Statement

Pierce Stream Team's mission is to educate and involve Pierce County citizens in stream related issues, through hands-on involvement and educational efforts for the benefit of fish, wildlife, and people.

Description

Volunteer activities include water quality monitoring on local streams and lakes; participation in streamside restoration efforts through removal of invasive non-native vegetation and re-establishing native plant communities; stormdrain marking with the message "Dump No Waste - Drains to Stream". We also sponsor workshops, tours and in-field trainings.
