Mission Statement

The Portland Visiting Nurse Association believes that home health services are an essential part of the health delivery system. By providing continuing care to clients in their own homes, home health services minimize the effects of illness, accident or disability, and prolongs the clients' ability to live independently.

Description

The Portland Visiting Nurse Association is an independent not-for-profit agency serving the towns of Cromwell, East Hampton, Middletown, and Portland, Connecticut. The agency provides primary home care nursing, registered therapies, homemaker and home health aide services, medical social workers, and a myriad of community health services, including blood pressure and foot care clinics, nutritional and home safety assessments, and a geriatric support care group.
