We have immediate opportunities for you to become an instrumental part of our presentation team. We help inform those caring members of our communities and afford opportunities of fixing what is broken, right in our own front yard. It's time we show gratitude and honor to those who have served their country, especially those living on our streets as we speak who put their lives on the line for our freedom. As a presenter for Veteran Connection, you will be provided your own talking points, (or you can make one up yourself) and will be provided a proposal that has key information which is relevant to our organization, its vision, and mission to know everything you need to about us. So what do we need? Veteran Connection is in need of a paralegal or attorney to look over current documents for the organization. Also, you would complete our annual paperwork for the State and Federal Government to ensure compliance. We would love for you to assist in housing homeless veterans in other ways, if possible.

So what do we need? I would like to do a documentary about veteran homelessness and suicide prevention. I need think tank teams, research and documenting your interactions. You can make calls and this is something you can record on your phone if you'd like to. I really need mainly veterans or supporters of veterans. When going to an organization or VA to seek help, I want you to notice how much income plays a big part in their services being rendered. The point is: there is bureaucracy and red tape regarding services. Many of these regulations and stipulations were made by those who never even wore a uniform. My hope is to open peoples eyes up to the sad reality that we are not taking care of our own. So that is some of the main reason there may be so many homeless veterans and so sad that 22 veterans commit suicide daily in this country.

Committee Chair Job Description Is a member of the Board (volunteer position description available upon request) Sets tone for the committee work. Ensures that members have the information needed to do their jobs. Oversees the logistics of committee's operations. Reports to the Board's Chair. Reports to the full Board on committee's decisions/recommendations. Works closely with the Chief Executive and other staff as agreed to by the Chief Executive. Assigns work to the committee members, sets the agenda and runs the meetings, and ensures distribution of meeting minutes. Initiates and leads the committee's annual evaluation.
