As a leading fraternal organization, Modern Woodmen helps its members take pride in themselves, their families, their communities and their nation. As a resource for American families, it emphasizes family togetherness, financial independence, emotional security and hands-on community involvement.

Modern Woodmen of America's mission statement is "to improve the quality of life for our members."

Description

Modern Woodmen is a fraternal benefit society with more than 750,000 members. These members are joined by three common bonds: family financial security, positive family life and community service.

Through its many fraternal programs, benefits and activities -- contributing more than $22 million annually -- Modern Woodmen has been serving its members and communities nationwide for over 125 years.

More than 2,300 local adult camps provide fellowship and service opportunities; nearly 800 local youth clubs teach community service, citizenship, cooperation and respect for self and others.
