Mission Statement

Cuddle My Kids helps parents with cancer balance their recovery with caring for and nurturing their children at home. Through organized crafts, reading, music and journaling, our volunteers entertain and enable young children to express their emotions in a positive way. The parent can take advantage of rest they need to heal. Cuddle My Kids helps families with cancer by providing love, compassion and fun!

Description

Our volunteers will pick up the supplies they need that have been organized and packaged for them. The supplies include all of the craft ideas and materials needed as well as music, books, games and more. Our volunteers provide home visits. Our volunteers provide the creative play for children 8 years old and younger who have a parent with cancer. They play for 1 and 1/2 hours then simply clean up and take the craft supplies back with them for restocking. No volunteer is ever alone and will always be with another volunteer.
