Our mission is to provide job training and placement for people with limited financial resources who are age 55 or older, and to provide employers with trained, motivated workers. SCSEP is an equal opportunity employer/program.

Description

To provide meaningful part-time work experience in community services.

To provide opportunities to transition to unsubsidized jobs in private industry or the public sector.

Development of new skills and talents toward alternate career opportunities.

Enhanced work experience through exposure to various jobs during enrollment

Benefits: Annual Physical Examination assistance, Job related counseling, Limited classroom training, Unsubsidized employment.

Eligibility: 55 years of age or older, Meet low-income guidelines, Be a resident of the state you are applying to, Not have worked in the last 7 days.
