Mission Statement

REACH Leadership Program for Girls is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2009 that inspires all girls to excel academically, reach for their dreams, and to make positive life choices. REACH Leadership Program for Girls has life-changing programs and experiences that are delivered year round through group mentoring, empowerment workshops, cultural and social activities, health and nutrition awareness, violence and teenage pregnancy prevention, drug abuse prevention, economic literacy, literacy programs and dream workshops.

Description

REACH goals are to develop future leaders who will have an impact in their homes, community and the world. Over the past four years, REACH has enrolled over 150 young girls and teens from K-12th grade to equip them with the tools to graduate high school, continue through post-secondary education and go on to lead fulfilling and productive lives. In addition, the organization teaches girls how to advocate for themselves and their communities, using their voices to promote positive change. REACH Leadership Program for Girls is a non-profit organization that receives 85% of its revenue from public support - corporations' grants, in- kind donations, private donations and individuals. More than 75% of the organization's functional expenses go directly to support program services for girls
