Mission Statement
Reaping Harvest is a healing Ministry that people will find themselves led to overcome darkness only to step into the lighted path of righteousness. We are to help people grow up and rise to be ahead of the times challenging onpen-mindly tradition that has been established by man.
We shall gain from the result of our action, our conduct, and our work. We shall gain the time of the year when the season yield of grain (reaped and gathered in). The Spirit of the Lord hath anointed us to preach the gospel to the poor who are lacking spiritual material possessions and spiritual gifts. We are to let them know that they may seem barren, but they carry the greater inside of them that have to be awaken for them to be productive spiritual and then they shall be great in worth.
We are to heal the broken hearted toward purity. Those who are cruched by grief or despair sahall be made strong to put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, evil speaking be put away from them with all malice (Ephesians 4:31), to gain the fruit of the Spirit that is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5L22).
We are to preach deliverance to the captives by communicating publicly the verdict "God set us free when He sent His only Begotten Son" (John 3:1-21). The enemy in war should no longer hold us prisoner. The enemy should no longer keep us within bounds. We should no longer be held under control, owned by the enemy to be operated for his need rather than for God's need.
We are to set at liberty them that are bruised by being in action with power from on High healing the injured, especially to the feelings. (Luke 4:18,19)
Description
There are demands and pressures, which are part of the modern world we live in today. These pressures may occur within the home as well as outside of the home, and meeting these daily challenges can be exciting. Even the most nurturing family can easily lose the healthy balance that is vital to establish and maintain long-term survival and advancement, when there is a lack of spiritual, economic, personal and functional development. In an effort to increase the services that we provide to the community, we are in need of a building to house Reaping Harvest Ministries, Inc./Unity at Heart Community Services, and funding in order to implement this new initiative.
Reaping Harvest Ministries, Inc./Unity at Heart Community Services is a newly formed non-profit organization, established in 2005. The vision of this multi-purpose Community Based Organization is to develop the community, enhance the quality of life of many residents within the community, and empower individuals through spiritual insight, education, outreach, leadership training and supportive services linkage. All of our efforts are aimed and committed to helping individuals move from poverty to self-sufficiency by giving them a hand up, and placing within their reach the provisions essestial in the combat on poverty.
The goal of Reaping Harvest Ministries, Inc./Unity at Heart Community Services is to contribute a long-term positive change throughout the community which it serves. We thrive on providing assistance in the areas of community development, personal development, leadership development, and social service assistance/awareness through the distribution of food, clothing, educationl material, and the implementation of counseling and mentoring.
Reaping Harvest Ministries, Inc./Unity at Heart Community Services shares with everyone God's good news, regardless of their race, creed, color, religious, social or economic status. It is a message of hope, true unconditional love, forgiveness, and learning of God's will through His word, His Spirit and through prayer.
We welcome voluteers who could potentially engage in with this charity by helping in our Youth Department with retreats, mentoring, tutoring, clothing and food give away, as well as improving current ideas.
