Description

NAC is a leader in New York City and beyond in supporting those that are affected by gun violence. Through peer support sessions families are strengthened to create legacies in their loved ones honor; these legacies mostly bring awareness to the epidemic and effects of gun violence as well as help families in their healing process. Families also are prepared to render service to the NYPD's Cease Fire initiative and through the City Council's Cure Violence initiative.

In the same manner, NAC works with the community to assist in their grieving process as well as provided events to make the reality of gun violence visible.
