Innovation Works is a non-profit, investment organization, funded by the state of Pennsylvania and foundations in the Pittsburgh region. We focus exclusively on high-potential technology enterprises, providing them with the seed capital and support resources they need to succeed to support a long-term goal of creating more wealth and opportunity in the region. The success of new technology enterprises is key to helping the region transition from manufacturing to a new economy. Innovation Works invests in firms that develop high-technology products or services; have fewer than 100 employees; have been in business three years or less; and reside in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Washington or Westmoreland county.
