Mission Statement

Triangle Speakers is a program of the Diversity Center a Santa Cruz based non-profit organization. Triangle Speakers works to eliminate fear, prejudice, and hatred against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people so that a healthy environment exists for all members of our community in Santa Cruz County.

Triangle Speakers actively pursues a sensitive and meaningful process to increase our cultural competency.

Description

Triangle Speakers is an education speakers bureau. We train speakers to sit on panels to speak from their own personal experiences in order to dispel myths and stereotypes of the LGBT community. Each panel consists of a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Allied individual. We host panels across Santa Cruz County (as well as neighboring cities) in middle schools, high schools, colleges & universities, and many other organizations.
