The American Textile History Museum tells America' s story through the art, science and history of our textiles.

Description

The magic of spinning and weaving comes to life in the Museum's on-going exhibition, "Textiles in America," located in a restored 1800s historic mill building. Explore the sights and sounds of nearly 300 years of textile- making in the United States. Watch fabric being woven on vintage looms for products sold in the Museum Store. The Museum's extensive collection includes machinery, artifacts, tools, garments, fabrics, graphics, photos, and prints. Open Thursday-Friday 9-4 and Saturday and Sunday, 10-5. Admission charged.
