Mission Statement

Since 2002, Progressive Arts Alliance (PAA) has been exciting students with dynamic arts-in-education programming. PAA's mission is to provide experiences in the contemporary arts that stimulate critical thinking and promote progressive thought. Much of PAA's educational mission centers around utilizing the popular arts as a compelling educational tool.

Description

Progressive Arts Alliance is a Cleveland-based non-profit arts-in-education organization. Our programs include the RHAPSODY Hip-Hop Education Program: Recognizing Hip-Hop as a Powerful Source of Development for Youth, Media Me Camp, and Music of My Mind: Creating Musical Biographies Intergenerational Filmmaking Camp. We also do many other in-school residencies and after-school programs including printmaking, website design, stop-motion animation, electronic music, and more.
