Description

Co-partners supports groups of women by providing training and services requested by the women themselves. Among other things, we provide school supplies and transportation scholarships so children can attend school as well as instruction in English. We have built a center for a women's group in Ilobasco, El Salvador, where instruction is offered in sewing, tailoring, computers, and English. We provide twice yearly on-site visits, providing training in management, assertiveness, peaceful dispute resolution, etc. We have offered an apprentice program so youth will be able to obtain jobs at home rather than emmigrating to the U.S. We are an all-volunteer organization, so our members pay for their own travel and expenses, and our administrative expenses are minimal: you can rest assured that your contributions will go directly to help some of the poorest families in our hemisphere.
