Mission Statement

Reading Tree is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own books. We provide an ongoing source of books to children in disadvantaged areas, schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, family literacy programs and international community libraries. Over 1 millon books have been given to kids in 2008. For more information visit www.readingtree.org

Description

Books are donated by the public into collection bins in high traffic areas. We collect all books and deliver children's books to youth charity partners and books for older readers are sent oversees as literacy. The program is free.
