Dallas Providence Homes is a framework, which provides individuals recovering from addictions, abuse and other life-crippling situations, with crucial community social structures, and healthy, interdependent relationships.

Description

Volunteers will help with the everyday developmental skills of the children in the home. We would like the daily activities to include reading, math, language and any other activities such as music or art. We will need to have 2 volunteers each day, 1 day a week for 3 months. Each day will consist of two 4 hour shifts: (9am-1pm) or (1pm-5pm) so the volunteer can choose which times they would like to help out. If you would like to volunteer for more than 1 day a week, that would be appreciated as well! Age ranges of the children are 1yr - 8yrs old. There are 7 children one of whom will be attending regular school each day.
