Description
PlaneTree Health Library, located in Silicon Valley, has provided free health information to the public since 1989. Our library's most fundamental service is providing patrons with access to information so they can make informed decisions about their medical care and healthy choices about life.
We have been an independent, community-supported nonprofit [501(c)3] organization since 2007. Originally founded as a reference service in central San Jose in 1987, PlaneTree Health Library moved to Los Gatos in 2003. As part of a partnership with the Santa Clara County Library District, we relocated to the Cupertino Library in October 2011. Our personalized reference services ended in 2013, but we continue to offer trustworthy information to the public via our website, newsletter, and Facebook page.
