Mission Statement

CHADD IS A NON-PROFIT PARENT-BASED VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION FORMED TO BETTER THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDERS AND THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM. CHADD WORKS TO ENSURE THAT THOSE INDIVIDUALS WITH ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDERS REACH THEIR INHERENT POTENTIAL.

Description

ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES:1. To maintain a support group for parents who have children with ADHD/ADD and a support group for adults with ADHD/ADD.2. To provide a forum for continuing education for parents, adults, and professionals, about ADHD/ADD.3. To be a community resource about ADHD/ADD.4. To foster the objective that the best educational experiences should be available to children and adults with ADHD/ADD so that their specific difficulties will be recognized and appropriately managed within the educational or family setting.
