SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center is owned and operated by SSM Health Care, St. Louis, Missouri. Care is provided beginning at birth through a child's 18th birday. The Medical Center is affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine and is a Level I Trauma Center providing the highest level of care. As part of our mission of caring for children, a multi-disciplinary approach to health care focusing on the physical, the spiritual, and the emotional well being of our patients is first and foremost. Care is provided to all patients regardless of race, religion, or ability to pay. SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center is the only free-standing Catholic children's hospital in the United States.
