Mission Statement

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care. As part of the San Diego Chapter of the CFF, we in Hawaii hold a fundraiser every May to raise funds to help fulfill this mission.

Description

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a national organization with chapters across the country. Hawaii is part of the San Diego Chapter. We advocate for the 30,000 Americans with cystic fibrosis, a rare, genetic, life shortening disease. In Hawaii, there are between two and three dozen people with cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis impacts many parts of the body, but primarily impacts the lungs and pancreas. Join us in our fight to cure this disease.
