Begin Again Farms, Inc. is a nonprofit organization devoted to the care and rehabilitation of abused and needy horses. We care for up to 40 horses at any one time. Many of these horses come to us having been abused, neglected or are unwanted. We provide community outreach through community fairs, school presentations, presentations to local community organizations and clubs, riding lessons and working with a local Girl Scout troop whose primary focus is horses. Our website is www.beginagainfarms.com Begin Again Farms is positioning itself to become a leader in the state of Georgia and the Southeast in all aspects of equine rescue. It is our hope to begin offering training to local emergency responders and community officials on large animal rescue; to coordinate or assist in equine rescue operations throughout the state of Georgia and neighboring states; to provide clinics and workshops on all aspects of horse ownership to the local community and to promote education to the local community in eliminating the occurrence of and improve the recognition of horse abuse and neglect.
