Mission Statement

Embracing Christ's call to serve, LFS Carolinas walks with the most vulnerable in our communities toward healing and wholeness.

LFS provides refuge to people who have suffered severe persecution in their homelands. LFS helps people who escape with little more than the clothes on their backs with housing, employment, and assimilation into American culture. LFS also coordinates the efforts of communities that sponsor families in the resettlement process.

Each year, nearly 100 children are adopted by loving families with LFS assistance. The LFS adoption program offers information, referral, adoptive home studies, and post-placement supervision to those seeking to adopt children from the United States
