Mission Statement

Pregnant with Possibilities Resource Center’s mission is to enable young women in Northeast Ohio to realize their full potential. Our mission is achieved by creating community partnerships, offering supportive programs, mentorship and character development.

Description

Pregnant with Possibilities Resource Center (PPRC), a 501-c3 non- profit organization dedicated to serving youth that are at risk of pregnancy, and women that have unplanned pregnancies. PPRC’s objective is to show women the beauty in delivering new possibilities through mentoring, promoting academic achievement, and character development.

PPRC is a program that is in direct response to teenage pregnancy and the increased rates among minorities. The goal of the program is to identify women who are recently pregnant, or that are at risk of pregnancy in correlation to their familiar dynamics, while offering a positive support system to avoid the consequences that can derail their lives. The focus is slightly different for each scenario (unplanned pregnancy, at risk, and post-abortion) but the goal remains the same; empower young women to make positive changes in her life.
