Bridgeway Hospice needs people who are willing to provide companionship, a friendly face and smile to patients and families coping with end-of-life issues. Some volunteers visit with patients, other volunteers may be needed to sit with patients while the caregiver gets a break to run errands. go to church, get their hair done, etc. No professional skills needed. Volunteer training is provided by Bridgeway Hospice.

Listening to someone's life story can be a wonderful experience.

Everyone that loves the outdoors; here is a way to help. Some of our patients/families are no longer able to mow their lawns, rake their leaves, etc. You can make a difference

Quilting and sewing Clubs, we need your help. If you crochet, knit, quilt or sew at home or in a group setting, we need your help to make adult bibs, lap blankets or quilts for our patients. Valentine baskets, Easter decorations, etc. If you love to bake and decorate cakes, you could bake birthday cakes for our patients. We need your help!

Hairdressers: We have patients who are unable to get out or are bedridden and would like their hair cut/styled. Our patients/families are so grateful for just one haircut. Please help. It just takes a couple of hours a month to make a difference.
