The mission of TCDC is to provide quality, affordable early care and education to children within our economically and ethnically diverse community. We strive to provide stability and support to the children in our care and to their families, so that together we can truly impact future generations

Description

Trinity Child Development Center has served the needs of low and moderate income families in Northeast Austin since 1964. TCDC is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. In October 2001, Trinity was accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). In 2007, Trinity CDC became a partner of United Way Capital Area. At TCDC we understand the importance of the early years on children. When young children and their families participate in our programming the children develop into resilient, caring, creative, intelligent children and adults. We help children reach their full potential when their brains are at their most crucial point of development. We offer a safe place for children to express emotions, learn independence and develop problem solving skills. TCDC also supports parents by extending their community in ways that support them.

This is a small Child Development Center that serves a low income population. It has been around for around 40 years. The people there are really nice to work with. The teachers are excellent. There are big needs that are satisfying to help with.
