Description

NCCF is a private, nonprofit agency with a 90 year commitment to serving families in the national capital area. NCCF's residential programs serve homeless families, victims of domestic violence and vulnerable adolescents. Other programs include treatment foster care, social services for family reunification, parenting education, independent living, and stabilizing families in the community. JC Nalle Community School is one of our sites. The JC Nalle Community School is a full service community school program,, in partnership with the Freddie Mac Foundation and the District of Columbia Public Schools. We offer extended instructional, mental health and social supports to elementary schools students in Ward 7 to help them achieve academic excellence.

I'm interested in this program because I like kids as well as i work well with kids. I also believe if I was involed in this program I can encourage my peers to join as well as get teens motivated to do something with their spare time.
