Mission Statement

The Virginia 4-H Mission: To develop youth and adults working with those youth to realize their full potential - becoming effective, contributing citizens through participation in research-based, non-formal, hands on educational experiences.

The Mission of 4-H is to assist youth, and adults working with those youth, to gain additional knowledge, life skills, and attitudes that will further their development as self-directing, contributing and productive members of society.

Description

4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

Volunteers work with youth in club work, camp settings, and educational opportunities.
